MYF Indoor 5-a-Side – Week 3 Preview

Week 2 is done, and things are starting to settle. Some teams have made strong starts, others are already playing catch-up, and Week 3 feels like an early turning point.

Where Things Stand

At the top, Better Days Foundation and Next Level Soccer have both won their opening two games. Six points from six, solid starts, and early signs they could be the teams to beat.

Just behind them, Rosehill United are still unbeaten but dropped points with a draw. Close enough to stay in touch, but they’ll want a win this week.

Old Shields FC and Mimza are harder to judge. Both have games in hand, which means they could move quickly up the table if results go their way.

At the bottom, Gold Diggers, Mamo F.C., and KG All Stars haven’t got off the mark yet. It’s still early, but another loss or two and the gap starts to grow.

Week 3 Fixtures

Tuesday 28th April – 9 PM

  • Kurd Squad vs Le Dream Team
Kurd Squad need points to stay relevant. Le Dream Team will be looking to steady things after a mixed start.
  • Mimza vs Mamo F.C.
Mimza started well and will expect to keep that going. Mamo F.C. have struggled defensively so far, so this is a big test.

Wednesday 29th April – 9 PM

  • Better Days Foundation vs Old Shields FC
Probably the standout game this week. Top of the table against an unbeaten side with games in hand. This could shift the balance at the top.
  • Denny F.C. vs Next Level Soccer
Next Level have been consistent so far, but Denny F.C. have shown they can surprise teams.

Thursday 30th April – 9 PM & 10 PM

  • Southside City vs Unpredictables
Both teams sit mid-table. A win here could push either side into the top half.
  • Gold Diggers vs Rosehill United (9 PM)
Gold diggers need to come out and get the points, Will this suit former Champions Rosehill United.
  • Westend Legends vs Mimza (10 PM)
Westend have been strong going forward. Mimza playing twice in the week could be a factor.

Final Thoughts

It’s still early, but this is the week where patterns start to form. The top teams can create a gap, and the teams at the bottom need to respond before the table stretches.

By the end of the week, we should have a much clearer idea of who’s pushing for the title and who’s got work to do.
