The sun was shining, and Bankknock AFC delivered a performance to match it—sharp, confident, and full of intent.

In a big GCFA Conference League clash Banknock AFC took on Queen’s Park SFC
Banknock have picked some good form lately and they ended up running out 5–1 winners and gave the Conference League table a much-needed shake-up.

Fast Start After the Breakthrough
The opening stages were tight, with both sides testing the waters. That changed in an instant when Ben stepped up and let fly from 35 yards. The strike was unstoppable—straight into the net and 1–0.
From there, Banknock didn’t let up.
Alex doubled the lead with a composed finish after a tidy move, showing exactly why he’s the team’s top scorer. 2-0
Soon after, pressure down the right from Jack and Danny forced an error, and Luke was in the right place to head home and put Banknock 3-0 up.
Queen’s Park pulled one back from a disputed free kick, but Banknock AFC still went into the break firmly in control at 3–1.
No Let-Up in the Second Half
Any thoughts of a comeback were shut down almost immediately. Straight from the restart, Alex turned provider, lifting a perfect ball over the top for Ben, who calmly slotted in his second of the match. 4-1
The fifth came through Kian, who reacted quickest to a rebound and finished low into the corner to cap off the scoring. 5-1

A Proper Team Performance
The goals stood out, but this was about more than just finishing chances. The whole team put in the work.
Danny Noble marked his debut with a Man of the Match performance, controlling the midfield and setting the tempo from the “6” role.
With Max away, Stuart and Angus Paterson stepped in on the sidelines and kept everything organised.
And a special mention to Neco, who filled in as goalkeeper and handled everything thrown at him.

Wrap-Up
This result matters. It lifts Banknock out of the drop zone and puts momentum firmly on their side with games still in hand. More importantly, it showed what this team is capable of when everything clicks.
Now it’s about building on it—same energy, same focus, next week.
