A MONTH TO REMEMBER
Some months define a title race — and this has been one of them. With pressure building at the top of the table, one forward has delivered performance after performance to push Port Glasgow Boys Club closer to championship glory. Clinical finishing, relentless movement, and a hunger for goals have made the difference in a crucial run of fixtures, with defenders across the league struggling to contain him.
LIAM KELLY – PORT GLASGOW BOYS CLUB

The numbers alone are staggering. Seventeen goals in just five games is an incredible return at any level of football, but it’s the consistency and impact of those goals that have truly stood out. Every match seemed to bring another standout display as Port Glasgow Boys Club continued their charge towards the title.
The month began with a ruthless six-goal performance against Ansar, followed by another six against DTI in a display of pure attacking quality. He then produced a huge performance at Firhill, scoring a brilliant hat-trick against GCR on one of the biggest stages of the season.
There was no slowing down from there. Further goals against Woodbank FC and GCR at Parklea took the monthly tally to an unbelievable 17 goals, capping off one of the most dominant individual months of the campaign.
For Port Glasgow Boys Club, this run of form could prove decisive in the title race. Big players step up in big moments, and throughout this month Liam Kelly has done exactly that. His confidence, composure, and eye for goal have lifted the entire team and given the club real momentum heading into the closing stages of the season.
Seventeen goals. Five games. A title push in full flow.
A Championship Player of the Month performance in every sense.
