The lights were bright and the pace was frantic this week at Super Soccer as the MYF Indoor 5-A-Side League swung into its second round of fixtures.

With 86 goals hitting the back of the net, the fans were treated to a masterclass in attacking football, tactical shifts, and a few individual performances that will be talked about until next week’s kickoff.

From heavyweight clashes to desperate scrambles for points, the “Top 7” race for the Premier League spots is officially wide open. Here is how the drama unfolded on the pitch.

THE TITAN CLASHES

Better Days Foundation 9 – 7 Gold Diggers

In what many are calling the game of the night, Better Days Foundation managed to maintain their perfect record, but they were made to sweat. The Gold Diggers pushed them to the absolute limit in a high-scoring shootout. However, the clinical edge of Yousuf, who picked up Man of the Match honors, ensured Better Days took home the points and claimed the throne at the top of the table.

Le Dream Team 8 – 3 Unpredictables

The Unpredictables entered the night sitting pretty at the top of the league, but they ran into a rejuvenated Le Dream Team. Led by a dominant performance from Ali Shisha, Le Dream Team played with a point to prove, handing the former leaders a reality check and securing their first win of the season in style.

CRUNCHING THE NUMBERS

Rosehill United 12 – 8 Southside City

If you like goals, this was the fixture for you. Rosehill United showed why they won the league a couple of years ago, putting a dozen past Southside City. Southside didn’t go down without a fight, netting eight of their own, but they simply couldn’t contain Tam, whose MOTM performance dictated the tempo of the entire match.

Next Level Soccer 6 – 3 Kurd Squad

Next Level Soccer proved they belong in the title conversation with a disciplined and efficient victory. While Kurd Squad fought hard to stay in the game, the technical superiority of their main man proved too much to handle. This result keeps Next Level perfect with two wins from two.

FIGHTING FOR SURVIVAL

Denny F.C. 11 – 8 Mamo F.C.

Denny F.C. finally got their season off the ground with a hard-fought victory over Mamo F.C. In a game that swung back and forth, Ahmed stood head and shoulders above the rest to guide Denny to their first three points, leaving Mamo F.C. still searching for their first mark on the board.

Westend Legends 7 – 1 KG All Stars

Westend Legends delivered the most defensive-sound performance of the week, stifling KG All Stars at every turn. Davi was the architect of the win, orchestrating a 7-1 demolition that catapults Westend into the top four and leaves KG All Stars rooted to the bottom of the table with a mounting goal difference problem.

THE WRAP-UP

With the highly anticipated match between Mimza and Old Shields rescheduled, both teams remain undefeated and lurking dangerously in the middle of the pack with games in hand.

As it stands, Better Days Foundation and Next Level Soccer are the teams to beat, but as Week 2 proved, no lead is safe and no favorite is untouchable in this league.

With the divide between the Premier League and the Championship looming, every goal and every MOTM performance is becoming gold dust.

See you back at the cages next week—where legends are made and goal nets are tested.
