What a week for Cambuslang Milan and manager Ryan Kerr.

Results like this don’t need much build-up—and this past week, Cambuslang Milan gave everyone something to take notice of.

Under Kerr, alongside assistant David Buchanan, the team put together two strong performances against top opposition.

It started on Saturday with a big test against Premier League title challengers Toryglen Thistle. On paper, a tough fixture. On the pitch, a clear result.

Cambuslang Milan ran out 4–1 winners, showing control and a clinical edge in the final third. Brandon McAuley was the standout, leading the line well and making the difference at key moments.

Saturday set the standard—Tuesday raised it again.

Facing Premier League title favourites Rutherglen Glencairn AFC, this looked like a tougher test on paper. It didn’t play out that way.

Cambuslang Milan ran out 5–2 winners, backing up the weekend result with another strong performance.

Morrison, Traynor and McAuley were central to it, linking well in the final third and taking their chances when they came.

For Kerr and Buchanan, it’s a week that reflects the level their side can reach against top opposition.

That level won’t go unnoticed.

Kerr will be looking for more of the same in the weeks ahead, but this week has already shown what this side can produce against strong opposition.
