PSP responded quickly. Kingy drove down the right and crossed for Smart, who finished from close range. 1–1.

Chances followed. Euan delivered a free kick into the box on 31 minutes, and shortly after Smart found Vlad, whose first-time effort was well saved.

34 minutes, Red Star went back in front. A long ball caught PSP out, the striker rounded Johnnie and finished. 2–1.

PSP kept pushing. Euan drove forward but shot wide, and Chrissie forced a good save just before the break.

Second half, PSP applied pressure. Corners came but clear chances were limited.

68 minutes, the equaliser. Chrissie drove forward again and slipped Smart into the area. He was brought down, got up, and scored the penalty. 2–2.

PSP pushed on.

73 minutes, the winner. Chrissie picked the ball up on the left, drove inside and finished from the edge of the box. 2–3.

PSP saw the game out well from there.
