Goalkeepers decide points in February.

One save. One moment. One calm head when the game’s on a knife-edge.

GK – Scott Perry – Nethercraigs
Great performance from the Nethercraigs goalie made a great save just before the 1st goal only to be let down by his defence and also a great penalty save and a great performance throughout.

GK – Max Noble – Banknock AFC
Max provided his team with numerous big saves at crucial times in the match to secure Banknock FC the win.

Defenders set the tone in March.

Headers won, gaps covered, talking constantly — the work that keeps teams in control.

DEF – Craig Thomson – Port Glasgow Boys Club
Craig put in a MOTM performance at the heart of the port defence and gave the team a massive platform to pick up the three points.
DEF – Jay McKay- Rutherglen Glencairn AFC
Wee man continues to stroll it at the back what a signing hes been for us
DEF – Andrew Stokes – Westhill United
Stokesy being in the Squad Of The Week Seems like an every week thing at the moment, he’s definitely hit a tremendous run of form. 
DEF – Jordan Kennedy – Corinthians 
Our trusted Captain was a rock against Chryston. His experience and position play was second to none.
DEF – Rory McLaughlan – Netherton AFC
Rory was today’s MOTM, The Defender was simply outstanding and was a massive reason why the club kept a clean sheet.

GCFA squad of the week
Midfielders
MID – Steven Collins – Clydebank SMFC
A hat trick of assists for the creative midfielder. Collins was superb all game long
MID – Kieran Tidser – Netherton AFC
helped us gain control of the game when moved centrally and sealed his performance with last minute screamer.
MID – Ale Taouss – Westhill United
an assist and a goal for Ale. We couldn’t really find our feet first half but second half he was everywhere and really kept us on the front foot!
MID – Stephen Barnes -Nethercraigs 
Outstanding performance by the veteran Nethercraigs player bossing the middle of the park and a great assist for our 1st goal. Also scored the winning penalty.
MID – Scott Taylor – Clydebank SMFC
Scotty shifted to LW for this game and got off to a great start with the first goal. Constant pressure on the defence helped us play in their half too
MID – Alan Vezza – Corinthians 
One of the oldest players on the pitch. Alan was integral in stifling the Chyston midfield
MID – Ronnie McDonald – Nethercraigs
The captain was thrown in the deep end after being out injured for so long and was outstanding with his experience helping throughout.

Forwards turn pressure into outcomes in March.

Movement, timing, and finishing when chances are rare.

STR – Ethan Furze – Bishopton FC
Another Saturday another hat-trick. Ethan’s performance was capped of by scoring 3 goals but his overall game was on point on Saturday. Scoring his 100th goal for club some achievement in such a short period of time.
STR – Greame McCallum – Clydebank SMFC
Two goals for McCallum and a welcome return to form for the Bankies talisman.
STR – Ryan Hughes – DTI AFC
Big man has been fighting through injuries and although not back to his best but put in a power of work on saturday.
STR – Barry Waddell – Third Lanark
Four goals and a constant thorn in the woodbank defence’s side. Took all four goals well and moves past the 20 goal mark for the season.
STR – Dylan Henry – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC
Yet another hatty for the lad thats 30 goals outstanding from him motm again.
STR – Ryan Murney – Corinthians
With limited chances in the game, Ryan was clinical with his 2 goals. His first was a composed finished from 20 yards out into the keepers top left hand corner. Then scoring a second from an Eddie Ferns ball to the front post.
STR – Leroy Smith – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC
He looked back to himself on saturday scoring 2 and getting an assist.
STR – Ross MacDougall – Knightswood AFC
Another 2 goals from the skipper. Drove the team forward all game.
STR – Dylan Roberts – Queens Park SFC
Just the four goals this weekend for the captain who put Cathcart to the sword with a clinical display. Unstoppable when he’s in this kind of mood.
STR – Liam Kelly – Port Glasgow Boys Club
A sublime goal to restore the lead at an important time, The PGBC talisman was superb all game long.
