The GCFA Championship table continues to show a clear leader, with movement in the chasing group following this weekend’s results. Games played differences remain a key factor across the division.

RHU Colts remain top on 34 points from 15 games.

Behind them, Busby AFC move onto 26 points from 13 matches, with Kings Park United AFC also on 26 points from 16 games.

PBGC Amateurs sit on 25 points from 11 matches despite defeat, still holding a strong games-in-hand position within the top group.

Third Lanark Amateur remain on 24 points from 13 games, keeping them within reach of the leading positions.

Southside United sit on 22 points from 15 games, maintaining their place in the chasing group.

The gap behind the leader remains significant, but the chasing group is tightly packed, with multiple teams separated by only a few points.

In the middle section, Netherton move up onto 19 points following their win, joining Lokomotiv Glasgow AFC on the same total.

Greater Croftpark Rose drop to 18 points after their draw, creating a one-point gap between the sides.

At the lower end, Glasgow Ansar and Woodbank AFC remain on 15 points, while DTI move onto 1 point after their draw.

What the numbers show

• Kings Park United AFC reach 26 points after a 4–4 draw.

• Netherton’s win moves them onto 19 points and into the middle group.

• PBGC Amateurs remain on 25 points despite defeat.

• Multiple teams between second and sixth remain within a small points range.

Key Result

• Netherton’s 3–1 win over PBGC Amateurs stands out as the result of the day in the Championship, leaving PBGC on 25 points while lifting Netherton onto 19 in the middle section.

The gap at the top is still there, but the movement behind tells its own story.

Points are starting to shape positions, and results like this week’s show how quickly places can change.

We’re reaching the stage where games in hand matter less — and results on the pitch matter more.

Squeaky bum time isn’t far away.

And in this GCFA Championship, the chasing pack is still very much alive.

No opinions.

No predictions.

Just the numbers.
