The GCFA Premier League table have a new league leader in town following this weekend’s results. Games played differences continue to shape the picture across the top half of the division.

Glasgow Island move up to top spot with 34 points after one more game played than second place

Park Sports Project drop into second place on 33 points from 15 games.

Behind them, Nethercraigs AFC are now on 31 points, 3 points behind the leaders with two more games played.

Corinthians stay 26 points from 17 games after their loss.

Rutherglen Glencairn remain on 26 points from 11 games, still holding the lowest games played in the top section.

The chasing group has tightened. Three teams now sit within four points of the lead, while the difference in games played continues to leave the table open.

In the middle section, Cambuslang FA Milan and Rossvale Huntershill both sit on 22 points, with Clydebank SMFC just behind on 21. This group remains closely packed with little separating positions.

At the lower end, results leave the points gap between sides still tight, with limited separation across the bottom section.

👊 Key takeaway now (important shift)

Island top on 34 points.

Park Sports Project sit one point behind with a game in hand.

Nethercraigs remain in the mix on 31 points despite having played more games.

Rutherglen Glencairn still hold the lowest games played in the top group.

👉 That’s your real story now

What the numbers show

Corinthians’ 1–0 defeat from Glasgow Island leaves them within eight points of the lead.

Cambuslang FA Milan and Rossvale Huntershill both move onto 22 points with wins.

Clydebank SMFC reach 21 points following their win at Knightswood AFC.

• Games played currently range from 11 to 20 across the league.

We’re into the stage of the season where every result carries weight.

Points on the board matter more than games in hand now, and the gap at the top is narrow enough to keep this open.

Call it what you want — this is squeaky bum time.

And in this GCFA Premier League, it’s shaping up to be a proper run-in.

No opinions.

No predictions.

Just the numbers.
