The game began cautiously, with both sides feeling each other out and few chances in the opening stages. On 12 minutes, Duggan played a clever ball inside to Chrissie, whose shot was saved comfortably by the keeper. Shortly after, Mickie sent a ball down the left to Chrissie, but his cross was blocked for a corner that came to nothing.

PSP continued to press, and on 23 minutes Ali found space down the right and delivered a cross into the box, only for the keeper to cut it out. A spell of pressure brought a couple of corners, but the breakthrough finally came in the 37th minute. Ewan’s corner was cut out at the near post, but he recovered the ball and threaded a pass through to Callum on the right side of the penalty area. Callum controlled well and fired a precise shot into the opposite corner to make it 1–0.

PSP looked to build on their lead before the break, and some neat interplay between Duggan and Chrissie brought another corner. Chrissie met it with a header into the ground, but the ball bounced narrowly over the bar.

The second half started much as the first had ended, with PSP on top. Within minutes, Duggan and Ali combined neatly on the right edge of the box, and Duggan buried the finish to double the lead at 2–0. Just four minutes later, Ali crossed for Callum, whose shot was pushed wide by the Knightswood keeper.

On 52 minutes, PSP extended their advantage further. Chrissie’s pinpoint cross from the left was met by Jordan Grant, who powered a header into the net for 3–0. Moments later, Jordan again drove forcefully through midfield, and another surging run soon after led to a deflected shot that fell to Ali, who smashed home to make it 4–0.

PSP continued to dominate, with chances falling to Chrissie, Ewan, and Anton as the half wore on. Knightswood’s defence battled hard, but the pressure told again in the 88th minute. A ball played in from the left found Gorlach outside the area. With a clever feint, he shifted past his marker and released a shot that took a slight deflection before finding the net for 5–0.

The score remained that way to full-time, rounding off a commanding performance from PSP and a well-deserved victory.
