The wait is almost over — this Saturday, the GCFA Premier Division roars back into action!
Thirteen teams, one top prize, and a season ahead that promises goals, drama, and no shortage of talking points. As the pinnacle of GCFA Saturday morning football, the Premier Division is where reputations are made and rivalries are settled. Let’s meet the contenders ready to battle it out for glory in 2025/26.
BISHOPTON FC

Callaghan the Bishopton boss will be praying he can sort out the clubs consistency and that would surely see them finish much higher in the league table.
CAMBUSLANG MILAN

Milan could certainly be up against it this campaign as they are statistically the 2nd favourite to go down and they have also lost the fantastic Chrissy Callaghan who went to the West Of Scotland League.
The gaffer David Buchanan has brought in some players to improve his squad for the new season and he will be hoping his squad is strong enough to stay in the league.
CLYDEBANK RED STAR

Statistically Red Star are favourites to go back down this new season but Pollock the Clydebank gaffer will come up with a tactical plan to help his team achieve their targets.
CLYDEBANK SMFC

Disappointment should not be one of the words describing Clydebank’s season as winning a domestic cup double the previous season was something that was almost impossible for the Bankies to relive.
Marty the Clydebank gaffer will have his team well drilled to go and attack their goals of winning more silverware.
CLYDESIDE ATHLETIC

The new management team encountered some problems like star man Jordan Gilchrist leaving the club. Athletic had a slow start to the last campaign but they definitely finished the season in a more healthier fashion.
Clydeside will he confident that with a good pre season they can be in the hunt for trophies again in this new season.
CORINTHIANS

Corinthians look well equipped to be at the top end of the table again this season with players like Ryan Murney, Thomas Halleran and Jordan Kennedy remaining at the club as they hunt for their 3rd title in 4 seasons.
GLASGOW ISLAND

That season for Islands was a freak season as history shows that Islands don’t suffer too many of that type of season.
Glasgow Islands legacy will be in mind as they turn their attention to making this season a success and returning to normality.
KNIGHTSWOOD AFC

The newly named Knightswood under the management of John Mullen will be hoping that they can become more consistent this season and finish in a higher position in the league table.
NETHERCRAIGS

Can the manager David Boyds new signings give the team an extra dimension to go one better and lift more silverware this upcoming season.
PARK SPORTS PROJECT

A season of change for PSP as they lost a ton of experience in Calder, Cranston and McGavin to name a few.
PSP boss Sharp brought in some youth to replace the players who left the club. Heartbreakingly for Park Sports they lost the league title in the final few moments of the season as well as losing the GCFA Cup Final on penalty kicks.
Knowing the gaffer Alan Sharp he will bring his team back after pre season hungry to get back to winning ways picking up some silverware.
ROSSVALE HUNTERSHILL

After winning promotion and getting to The Jim Harvey Cup Final the club will be confident of building on the hard work they put in last campaign.
RUTHERGLEN GLENCAIRN AFC

Knowing the Rutherglen Glencairn AFC gaffer like we do he will be desperate to go and better and lift even more silverware next season
TORYGLEN THISTLE

Co managers Graham and Scott have assembled an incredible squad who now have experience of lifting silverware. Would you put it past them lifting more silverware in this upcoming season.
