It was a weekend of high-scoring drama and statement victories in the Conference League. As the season pushes toward its final stages, the gap between the contenders and the rest of the pack is becoming a canyon.
From clinical away performances to home-turf demolitions, here is everything you need to know about the latest round of fixtures.

The Big Winners: Remo FC and Westhill United

The top of the table saw no mercy this week. League leaders Remo FC continued their imperious, unbeaten run with a 6-1 win over Queen’s Park SFC. The victory keeps them comfortably at the summit with a massive 10-point cushion.

However, the “Scoreline of the Week” belongs to Westhill United AFC, who heaped some misery on Cathcart AFC with an emphatic 8-1 victory.
The win moves Westhill into 3rd place, level on 38 points with Cambuslang FA, and further boosts their league-leading goal difference of +50.
Tight Ties and Away Days

It wasn’t all one-sided, though. Rosebank United secured a vital 2-1 win on the road against River Nevis. Despite having played significantly fewer games than those around them, Rosebank looks like a dangerous dark horse in the mid-table.

Cambuslang FA also handled their business away from home, picking up a 3-1 victory against Banknock AFC to maintain their hold on 2nd place.

Meanwhile, Glasgow Medics gave their manager something to cheer about with a solid 3-1 win over a struggling Bearsden AFC side that remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just a single point.

The Final Word
As we look at the table, Remo FC appears to be cruising toward the title, but the battle for the silver medal is heating up between Cambuslang and Westhill. At the other end of the spectrum, Bearsden AFC is in desperate need of a miracle to turn their season around. With games in hand for several teams, the mid-table shuffle is far from over.
Stay tuned for next week’s action, where the pressure only gets higher!
