Right, get the kettle on and prepare to see an old man dance with delight or fall in failure— here are this week’s results from my bold, brilliant, and occasionally bonkers predictions.
Premier League
Corinthians 3 – 2 Cambuslang Milan

This one’s tighter than my old five-a-side shorts. Could go either way, but I’m backing Corinthians — they’ve been around the block a few times and know how to handle the big occasions. Experience counts… unless it doesn’t, but let’s not overthink it.
The actual result ⬇️
Corinthians 1-0 Cambuslang Milan
Park Sports Project 4 – 1 Rossvale Huntershill

I’ll be honest, I just can’t see PSP messing this up. They’re flying, they’re scoring for fun, and Rossvale might need more than a pep talk and a packet of oranges at half-time.
The Actual Result ⬇️
Park Sports Project 2-2 Rossvale Huntershill
Championship
Glasgow Ansar 1 – 4 Port Glasgow Boys Club

Port are looking like proper title contenders — sharp, confident, and probably already eyeing the trophy cabinet space. Ansar might nick one, but I think Port will be too strong across the park.
The Actual Result ⬇️
Glasgow Ansar 0-11 Port Glasgow Boys Club
Kings Park United 3 – 3 Woodbank FC

Goals. Chaos. Possibly a defender accidentally scoring a worldie. This has all the ingredients of a classic — and by classic, I mean nobody defending and everyone having a great time.
The Actual Result ⬇️
Kings Park United 5-0 Woodbank FC
Conference League
River Nevis 4 – 1 Cathcart AFC

Nevis at home? Different beast. The crowd, the pitch, the mysterious wind that only affects the away team — it all adds up. Cathcart might struggle to get a foothold here.
The Actual Result ⬇️
River Nevis 2-2 Cathcart AFC
Jim Harvey Cup
Queen’s Park SFC 2 – 4 Busby AFC

Cup magic is lovely and all that, but Busby look like they mean business. Queen’s Park will give it a go (and fair play to them), but I reckon Busby’s strength will shine through in the end.
The Actual Result ⬇️
Queen’s Park SFC 0-8 Busby AFC
Final Thoughts from Hugh 🤔
Did I get them all right? Absolutely not.
Three correct match winners out of six is ok
Football’s a funny old game — and if these predictions sometimes go completely sideways, I’ll simply pretend I meant the opposite all along.
Until next time,
