Another action-packed weekend across the divisions produced standout individual performances all over the pitch. Narrowing it down to just seven players—while keeping it to one per club—was no easy task, but here are the official Player of the Week nominees:
1. Ethan Furze (Bishopton FC)
It’s getting hard to find new ways to describe Ethan’s impact. Another weekend, another hat-trick—this time marking his 100th goal for the club. Beyond the goals, his all-round play was exceptional, leading the line with confidence and consistency.
2. Barry Waddell (Third Lanark AFC)
Four goals tell their own story. Barry was simply unplayable, causing constant problems for the defence and showing clinical finishing throughout. A huge contribution that pushes him beyond the 20-goal mark this season.
3. Dylan Roberts (Queen’s Park SFC)
A captain’s performance in every sense. Four goals in a dominant display, Roberts was ruthless in front of goal and completely dictated the attacking tempo. When he’s in this form, he’s almost impossible to stop.
4. Ale Taouss (Westhill United)
A game of two halves, but Ale took control when it mattered most. With a goal and an assist, his second-half performance drove his team forward and turned the tide, showcasing energy, creativity, and composure.
7. Max Noble (Banknock FC)
A goalkeeper who made the difference when it counted. Max pulled off several big saves at crucial moments, ultimately securing the win for his side. A match-winning contribution between the sticks.
