Another massive week of performances across the league, with quality shining through in every area of the pitch.

From commanding defenders to clinical forwards, narrowing it down was no easy task—but here are this week’s 8 Player of the Week nominees:

NUMBER ONE

GK – Jack Maclennan (Glasgow Island)
A goalkeeper who led from the front. Maclennan delivered a commanding performance between the sticks, showing safe hands and real authority in dealing with crosses. His presence gave Glasgow Island confidence throughout and laid the foundation for a strong result.

NUMBER TWO

DEF – Christian Barcz (Bishopton FC)
Defensive solidity paired with attacking threat—Barcz had it all. Not only was he strong at the back, but he also made a huge impact going forward, grabbing two goals and proving deadly from deliveries into the box.

NUMBER THREE

MID – Daniel (Burnhill FC)
A dynamic shift into central midfield didn’t slow him down one bit. Daniel produced an all-action performance, contributing two goals and an assist. His attacking instinct and energy made him a constant threat.

NUMBER FOUR

DEF – Andrew Stokes (Westhill United)
A commanding display from the experienced defender. Stokes was solid from the first whistle, organising the back line and showing real composure under pressure. To top it off, he got himself on the scoresheet with a powerful header—an all-round top performance.

NUMBER FIVE

STR – Dylan Henry – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC Back to his very best. Henry was simply unstoppable, firing in another hat-trick and causing problems all game. Clinical, sharp, and full of confidence—exactly what you want from a striker in top form.

NUMBER SIX

STR – Fraser Moreton (Busby AFC)
Work rate and impact. Moreton put in a tireless shift on the wing, tracking back to support his team while also contributing going forward. He grabbed a goal and later forced a defensive error to create another—vital contributions in attack.

NUMBER SEVEN

MID – David Hain – Clydeside Athletic
The definition of an all-round midfielder. Hain contributed at both ends of the pitch, defending solidly and driving forward with purpose. His standout moment—a brilliant goal—helped seal a big win for his side.

NUMBER EIGHT

DEF – Craig Thomson – Port Glasgow Boys Club
A true leader at the back. Thomson organised his defence superbly and used all his experience to help his side secure a clean sheet—even while down to 9 men. A composed and resilient performance.
