Results are starting to come in across the GCFA Conference, and even with only a couple of confirmed scorelines so far, the table has already seen some movement.

Two matches have reported results at the time of writing, and both had a direct impact on the top end of the league.

Burnhill delivered one of the most emphatic results of the day, beating River Nevis 6–2. It was a statement performance against one of the Conference’s strongest sides and it pushes Burnhill firmly into the promotion conversation.

Meanwhile, the clash between Westhill United and league leaders Remo FC finished level at 3–3 in one of the most entertaining matches reported so far. Remo still extend their lead at the top by picking up a point, but Westhill once again showed they can compete with anyone in the division.

With those results applied, Remo move onto 39 points from 15 matches and remain clear at the top of the table.

Burnhill’s win lifts them onto 29 points from 16 games, strengthening their position among the chasing pack, while Westhill’s draw moves them onto 28 points from just 13 matches — a reminder that they still have games in hand that could have a major impact on the promotion race.

River Nevis remain second despite the defeat but the gap to the leaders has widened slightly.

Several other fixtures from the Conference card are still to report, meaning the table could yet shift again once the remaining results are confirmed.

For now though, the early numbers tell a familiar story — Remo remain the benchmark at the top, while the chasing pack continues to tighten behind them.

More results, updated tables, and a full stat pack will follow once the remaining matches are confirmed.

Hugh Dunnit reminder:

This is only the early picture. The GCFA Conference has a habit of changing quickly once all the scorelines land. What doesn’t change is the standard — a historic, competitive and thriving Saturday morning league where every point still has to be earned the hard way.
