Week Ending: 28 February

Another brilliant weekend of football produced some outstanding individual performances across the league. After reviewing the nominations, here are the five contenders for Player of the Week:

Smart Olasador – PSP
The new signing made an instant impact with a superb hat-trick, showing great movement, sharp finishing and constant involvement in PSP’s attacking play.

Greg McArthur – Queens Park SFC
A dominant display in the centre of the park. McArthur won a penalty, scored a goal and drove his team forward all game, showing leadership and quality throughout another impressive performance in what has been a strong season.

Graeme McCallum – Clydebank SMFC
A huge contribution to his side’s attack with two goals and two assists, while also working tirelessly and being involved in most of Clydebank’s forward play.

Steven Wilson – River Nevis
The creative engine behind River Nevis’ big win, producing an outstanding display with four assists and consistently unlocking the opposition defence.

Kyle Campbell – Camby Milan
An excellent all-round midfield performance capped off with a goal-of-the-season contender, spotting the keeper off his line from his own half and scoring a sensational long-range effort.
