Goalkeepers decide points in February.

One save. One moment. One calm head when the game’s on a knife-edge.

GK – Ben Greenway – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC Ben had a couple of good saves bit he had an outstanding save in the last mins to keep us ahead.

Defenders set the tone in February.

Headers won, gaps covered, talking constantly — the work that keeps teams in control.

DEF – Gav Innes – Queens Park SFC
Driving runs from full back, accurate crosses and perpetual motion – a typically stand out performance from a player who’s getting better and better. Inches from a goal of his own to cap the display, only prevented by an excellent goal line clearance.

DEF – Nathan Mallon – Camby FA
Another good performance from the big man esepcially in the 2nd half getting an early goal in 2nd half to extent our lead.

DEF – Gary Weir – Southside United
Left back , been so dependable this season , and Saturday was no different handled the Woodbank winger well and done 2 last ditch tackles to prevent possible goals.

DEF – Scott Robson – Clydebank SMFC
Robbo has been great recently. Just as strong in attack as he has been in defence. Bagged an assist.

DEF – Jay Mckay – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC
Jay was outstanding at he back line dealing with everything in his usual calm n collected manner mitm performance 

DEF – Kieran McCallion – Clydebank SMFC
Kieran fell back into his more familiar position of right back. Dealt with their LW very well

DEF – Craig Thomson – Port Glasgow BC
Craig produced a commanding performance at CB keeping the Rhu attackers quiet

DEF – Anton McGrotty – PSP
The attacking fullback got up and down the pitch all game long. Anton was a thorn in the side of the opposition and was a part of the defence that kept the clean sheet.

DEF – Finlay Anderson Glasgow Island
collosal at the back. An inspiration to the rest of the guys, always demanding more. Even weighed in with a goal.
DEF – Phil Morrison – Camby Milan
Phil was solid the whole game, always switched on and top top it off a nice goal into the bargain. 

DEF – Jamie Scott – Cambuslang FA
Jamie put in a man of the match performance on saturday, solid defensively and aggressive in everything he done was brilliant especially for his first start in a few games.

DEF – Connor Duggan – PSP
Duggan was a big part of why the team was Able to keep a clean sheet against the unpredictable Knightswood. a big performance from a big player.

Midfielders set the rhythm in February.

Win it. Keep it. Play the right pass. Do it again.

MID – Bradley Anderson – Port Glasgow BC
A dominant display in the middle of the park, a great penalty to level the game. 

Mid – Kyle Campbell – Camby Milan 
kyle was excellent again this week. Constantly getting on the ball, at 1-1 kyle showed great awareness and from his own half caught the keeper off his line and scored a goal of the season contender. 

MID – Brandon McAuley – Camby Milan
another great performance from brandon who was the refs MOTM, controlled the game and always looked a real danger going forward. 

MID – Adam Clarke – Rosebank United
Another one in the middle who helped dictate play and sprayed passes about on a tricky surface
MID – Robbie Whyte – Glasgow Island
Another team of the week nomination. Went to South America for 3 months and came back playing like a South American!

MID – Jordan Grant – PSP
Grant produced another very good performance on Saturday helping lead his team to a big victory over Knightswood.

MID – Steven Wilson – River Nevis
Another top performance from the midfielder who provided four assists for his teammates in their big win over Bearsden.

MID – Greg McArthur- Queens Park SFC
Another superb performance from the big midfielder who won a penalty, scored a goal of his own and drove the team on from the centre of the park. Having a great season and was more of the same on Saturday. 

MID – Chrissy Callaghan – Camby Milan
The big man was superb again on Saturday causing proplem after problem for the rossvale LB, quick, direct and another couple of assists to top it off.

Forwards turn pressure into outcomes in February.

Movement, timing, and finishing when chances are rare.

STR – Liam McGeachy – Southside United
unreal performance, won every header , lead the line brilliant , fantastic assist and also got a goal, been a big miss for us when he got injured but great to have him back.

STR – Josh Clougherty – LS Memorial
striker another 2 goals his first goal came within the opening 2 minutes of the game where the ball fell to him just in between the half way line and the 18 yard line and he struck it with his left foot his bad foot and curled it top corner goal of the season contender. And he worked hard on and off the ball gave us everything he had in the tank.

STR – Robin Harvey – Glasgow Island
Robin is simply unplayable when in Saturday’s form. His all round good play keeps the team playing at the top of their game.

STR – Smart Olasador – PSP
The new signing was top drawer and scored three very good goals today. Smart was always available and involved in all of the nice football PSP played throughout the game.

STR – Tony Conroy – Rosebank United
Bare bones on Saturday so Tony had to do a shift up front. Worked hard for the team, held the ball up well and rewarded with a goal.

STR – Craig Taylor – Southside United
A goal and assist and was a constant problem till he tired for the Woodbank defenders , him and nic McNulty have added a new dimension to our team and both were brilliant on Saturday 

STR – Graeme McCallum – Clydebank SMFC
Casa was involved in most things on Saturday. Two goals (including a great header) and two assists. Always runs himself into the ground as well.

STR – William stalker – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC
Stalker was excellent in leading the line scoring 2 goals 1 of which was a worldie.
