February was another big month in the GCFA Premier League, with players across the division continuing to set the standards. From goals at the sharp end to hard work in the middle of the park, several names stood out over the past few weeks: Robbie Whyte (Glasgow Island), Gary Arbuckle & Kieran McCallion (Clydebank SMFC), Willie Stalker (Rutherglen Glencairn AFC) and the attacking pair of Jonny Donald (Nethercraigs) and Vincent Gillespie (Cambuslang Milan), all playing key roles for their clubs throughout the month.

What can you say about the Clydebank SMFC talisman? He has been sensational throughout February and it is no shock his team Clydebank are bang in form when Gary is playing like this

Stalker is one of the most feared strikers within the league set up and unfortunately for the defenders within the GCFA the Rutherglen attacker looks back to form. February was one of Stalker’s best months of the season so far

The Bankies have been back in form this month and McCallion has more than played his part in the clubs change in fortunes. The utility man has been at the top of his game throughout February

Jonny offers Nethercraigs something that no other striker at the club seems to do.
The Attacker certainly has an eye for goal and has been a big player for his club throughout February .

Finlay has been in great form for Glasgow Island throughout February, He has really shown that when he is at the top of his game Islands are a formidable force.
He has had a tremendous February and has really been a quality signing for the club.

The Camby Milan striker has had a month to remember for his club and he has been massive for them especially in the last two weeks. The goal scorer has hit the net a total of five times in the clubs two big wins over Toryglen and Rossvale.

February was a big month in the Premier League. In a league with the history and standards of the GCFA, months like this remind you why Saturday morning football still carries real weight. Performances matter, reputations are built week by week, and players across the division continue to raise the bar. Who gets your nod? We’ll soon find out — but one thing’s certain: the standard has been set for the months ahead.
