Three names, one spotlight — whose February graft gets its reward?
#SaturdayMorningFootball #ScottishAmateurFootball

February was a month where touchline voices mattered just as much as what happened on the pitch. Three managers — Ryan Carmichael (Cambuslang FA), Colin Stevenson (Rosebank United), and Calum Morrison (River Nevis) — stood out for different reasons, but all shared the same trait: lifting their squads when it counted most.
From Cambuslang’s bounce-back form to Rosebank’s momentum-building wins and River Nevis’ turnaround, each boss showed why the Conference League remains one of the GCFA’s most unpredictable battlegrounds.

Ryan Carmichael – Cambuslang FA
Ryan and his Cambuslang FA team have been in good form throughout February as his team picked up big wins over Bearsden and Glasgow Medics.
Carmichael continues to get the best out of his players as his team continues to go from strength to strength throughout the season.

Colin Stevenson – Rosebank United
The Rosebank gaffer has had a very productive February and he will be looking for more from his team throughout March.
Two big wins over Cathcart and Remo FC have really put Rosebank United in a good place.

CALUM MORRISON
– RIVER NEVIS
Morrison has has been slowly building his River Nevis team throughout the early months of the season.
Wins over Bearsden AFC and Cathcart have put Calum Morrison in the frame for the Conference manager of the month.

Big wins, bounce-backs, and belief — that’s what this month’s nominations are built on. The GCFA Conference keeps reminding everyone why Saturday morning football matters.
📊 Who gets your nod? We’ll soon find out — but one thing’s certain: the bar has already been set sky-high.

Hugh Dunnit says:
You can tell a lot about a league by the names up for Manager of the Month. In the GCFA, it’s never just a token shortlist — it’s gaffers who’ve earned it the hard way. Every nomination shows why this historic league keeps thriving: real graft, real standards, and managers setting the tone for Saturday mornings.
