Saturday delivered goals — and plenty of them.

Five players walked off with match balls, including a midfield treble from Busby AFC’s Connor Docherty and four forwards who made the difference for their sides.

Vincent Gillespie’s first-half hat-trick set the tone early in a key Premier League fixture, while Willie Stalker fired Rutherglen Glencairn AFC into the West of Scotland Cup quarter-finals.

Gary Arbuckle’s treble powered Clydebank SMFC to a 4–1 win over Nethercraigs, and Jamie Curran struck three at Parklea to secure three points for his side.

A Saturday morning side reaching the quarter-finals of the West of Scotland Cup is significant. Rutherglen Glencairn AFC and manager Thomas Quinn continue to show their level against wider opposition.

In league action, Gary Arbuckle’s hat-trick helped Clydebank SMFC to a 4–1 win over Nethercraigs at Holm Park, while Jamie Curran’s treble secured three points against Kings Park United at Parklea.
