PSP 2 – 2 Corinthians
A top-of-the-table contest settled by fine margins
Two sides competing at the top met in a fixture that carried clear significance.
The opening stages were measured, both teams looking for space without overcommitting.
On 10 minutes Corinthians created the first clear opening. A break down the left saw their number 9 cut inside and shoot. Johnnie parried low to his left and the defence cleared.
Two minutes later PSP responded. Gal drove down the right but was stopped on the edge of the box. Dec’s free kick was cleared for a corner, which came to nothing.
On 30 minutes Dec delivered a free kick from the right, but no one connected.
PSP doubled the lead on 32 minutes. Vlad again advanced down the right, beat his marker and squared for Dec, who slid the ball home. 2–0.
Ali drove forward on 36 minutes and struck from 20 yards, the keeper pushing it wide.
The remainder of the half saw set pieces at both ends, but no further clear chances.

Half time
Corinthians 0-2 PSP
Corinthians reduced the deficit on 49 minutes. A run down the right produced a dangerous cross. Johnnie got a fist to it, but the loose ball was finished from close range. 2–1.
Momentum shifted. From a right-sided corner soon after, the ball was delivered into a crowded box and bundled over the line to level the score. 2–2.
PSP weathered the pressure before regaining control.
On 67 minutes Gal shot from the edge of the box and forced a save round the post. From the resulting corner he headed over.
Chances remained limited late on. In the 87th minute a long-range Corinthians effort was pushed wide by Johnnie.
There was no further scoring. The match finished 2–2.
