THE LEAGUE TABLE & FIXTURES

Fixture previews

Netherton AFC V DTI AFC

On paper, this looks like a straightforward task for Netherton AFC. They face a DTI side that has endured a nightmare season, remaining on 0 points after 15 matches.

For Netherton, it’s an opportunity to boost their goal difference and climb the league table.

For DTI, every game is now about pride and finally breaking that stubborn duck.

Hugh’s Prediction – Netherton AFC 4 DTI AFC 1

Port Glasgow Boys Club V Kings Park United

This is a classic mid-table “six-pointer.” PGBC Amateurs are the league’s enigmas—sitting in 5th place despite having played only 7 games.

If they win their games in hand, they are genuine title contenders.

Kings Park United will be looking to bounce back and prove they belong in the top half, making this one of the most unpredictable games of the round.

Hugh’s Prediction – Port Glasgow Boys Club 3 Kings Park United 1

Third Lanark AFC v Lokomotiv Glasgow

A massive clash in the hunt for promotion. Third Lanark Amateurs sit in second place and boast a superior points-per-game average, having played fewer matches than the leaders.

They face a Lokomotiv Glasgow side that has struggled for consistency but remains a dangerous opponent on their day.

Third Lanark will view this as a “must-win” to keep the pressure on RHU Colts.

Hugh’s Prediction – Third Lanark AFC 4 Lokomotiv Glasgow 2

Greater Croftpark Rose V Southside United

Both teams are currently locked in the middle of the league table, separated by just three points.

Greater Croftpark Rose will be looking to use home advantage to leapfrog the teams above them, while Southside United needs a result to avoid being dragged into a late-season scrap at the bottom.

Expect a tight game at Firhill Complex on Saturday.

Hugh’s Prediction – Greater Croftpark Rose 2 Southside United 2

Woodbank FC V Rhu Colts

The weekend’s headline act sees the runaway leaders, Rhu Colts, travel to face Woodbank AFC.

Rhu Colts have been in clinical form, sitting pretty at the top with 31 points from 13 games. Woodbank, currently in the bottom half of the table, will have their work cut out to stop the league’s most consistent side.

However, with Woodbank’s need to climb away from the lower reaches, expect a feisty performance from the home side.

Both clubs had great results last Saturday so they will be flying going into this Saturday’s clash at Greenfield.

Hugh’s Prediction – Woodbank FC 2 Rhu Colts 4

This is a weekend where numbers matter — points totals, games played, and gaps that either close or widen. No statements, just positioning.

Saturday standards are back ⭐ — and the table will look a little clearer by lunchtime.
