Despite a weather-hit fixture card that reduced the schedule across the leagues, there was still plenty decided on Saturday morning. Fewer games, but performances that mattered. From hat-tricks off the bench to key defensive contributions in tight matches, these were the performances that stood out.

Here are our top picks for the Players of the Week:

Craig Taylor – Southside United
Introduced at half-time, Taylor changed the game. He scored three in the second half, turning a tight contest into a result that mattered. Southside needed a response — he provided it.
Dylan Henry – Rutherglen Glencairn AFC
Henry was directly involved throughout. He scored and added two assists, playing a key role in Rutherglen’s attacking output. A clear Man of the Match performance..

Shaun Wallace – Rhu Colts
Wallace scored three and was central to Rhu’s attacking play. His hat-trick ensured the result and gave the opposition defence plenty to deal with throughout.

David Hepburn – Clydebank SMFC
Hepburn controlled large spells in midfield and was involved in Clydebank’s attacking phases. He added a goal to his performance and played a key part in the result.

Honourable Mention: MacGregor (Toryglen Thistle) scored twice despite a Cinema Cup exit and remained influential throughout.

Weather cut the schedule — but not the standards. These were the five performances that shaped Saturday morning.
