Hugh Dunnit — Cinema Cup Quickfire

Confidence in the Room.
Levels Still to Find.
Cup football doesn’t need to be perfect. It needs to be won.
Clydebank SMFC progressed in the Cinema Cup — but the tone afterwards was controlled rather than celebratory.
Manager Marty was honest in his assessment.
On confidence going into fixtures:
“We’re always confident going into any fixture with the players we have in the dressing room.”
On balancing cup momentum with league priorities:
“We want to win every game but the league is the bread and butter and we need to start putting points on the board. Wins in the cup will definitely help with confidence.”
On expectations moving forward:
“As I said previously, we want to win every game and we have confidence the league form will get better.”
On the performance itself:
“Any win helps, I don’t think we played particularly well today and we have many more levels to find.”
Through.
But not satisfied..

Cup progression gives you breathing space.
Clydebank’s message is simple — belief hasn’t wavered, but standards remain higher than what was shown.
Confidence in the dressing room.
More levels still to find.
