Conference League Player of the Month —
Sean McBride – Westhill United
January was a strong month for you — what felt like it was working best in your game?
Boys have been brilliant to be fair with a few big results which has helped us stand out from the rest and being able to chip in with a few goals and assists has been good.
Away from the goals, what do you think you gave the team most during that run?
I have tried my best to make sure I was helping the team both in defensive and attacking areas of the pitch which again has been made easier with the boys being so good.
What did it mean to you personally to be named Conference League Player of the Month?
MFeels brilliant to be recognised by the league for what has probably been my best run of form since I came in to Westhill at the start of the season. Hopefully it continues.

Anyone in the Westhill squad you’d give a shout-out to for January?
The full squad has been brilliant since our defeat to Remo, gaffer asked us to bounce back and we’ve done that perfectly — scoring 40 goals and only conceding 6 along the way.
Special shout-out to Marc Buckley who’s been excellent for us in recent weeks and unfortunately ended up with a bad injury during the game at the weekend which sees his season come to an end. We’re all gutted for him but know he will come back stronger 💪🏻
