THE LEAGUE TABLE & FIXTURES

Fixture previews

Glasgow Ansar v Netherton AFC

The Resilience Test

Glasgow Ansar have played the most football in the league (14 games) but finds themselves in sixth position.

They host a Netherton side that is notoriously difficult to break down.

Hugh’s Prediction – Glasgow Ansar 2 Netherton AFC 3

Southside United v Port Glasgow Boys Club

Southside United vs. PGBC Amateurs:

PGBC are the still in an incredible position after loosing their first league game of the season last weekend.

The Port Glasgow team are sitting in 8th but have only played six games, they have the highest points-per-game potential in the league.

Southside will need a defensive masterclass to hold them off but they will go into the game with confidence after winning their last two league games.

Hugh’s Prediction – Southside United 2 Port Glasgow Boys Club 3

Third Lanark AFC v DTI AFC

Third Lanark Amateurs vs. DTI: A TOUGH TASK FOR DTI

Third Lanark sit in 3rd place in the league table and will be looking to feast on a DTI side that has yet to record a single point this season.

For DTI, today is about pride and stopping the bleeding and try pick up some points after conceding 68 goals in 13 games.

Hugh’s Prediction – Third Lanark AFC 4 DTI AFC 1

Rhu Colts V Greater Croftpark Rose

TITLE RACE IGNITES: RHU COLTS LOOK TO STRETCH LEAD

All eyes are on the summit this Saturday as league leaders RHU Colts prepare for a high-stakes encounter against 5th-place Greater Croftpark Rose. The Colts currently sit atop the table with 25 points, but with Busby AFC breathing down their necks with two games in hand, every point is a prisoner.

Croftpark Rose will be looking to play the role of spoiler. Despite a negative goal difference, they have shown they can grind out results and will be desperate to close the gap on the top four.

Hugh’s Prediction – Rhu Colts 4 Greater Croftpark Rose 1

Lokomotiv Glasgow v Busby AFC

MATCH OF THE DAY: THE BATTLE FOR SECOND

While the leaders are in action, the real pressure sits with Busby AFC as they travel to face Lokomotiv Glasgow. Busby is the most efficient side in the league right now, trailing the top spot by only 3 points despite having played two fewer games.

The Lokomotiv Factor: Lokomotiv Glasgow finds themselves in a congested mid-table scrap. A win today could propel them away from the bottom three, but they face a Busby defense that has only conceded 16 goals all season.

Hugh’s Prediction – Lokomotiv Glasgow 1 Busby AFC 3

This is a weekend where numbers matter — points totals, games played, and gaps that either close or widen. No statements, just positioning.

Saturday standards are back ⭐ — and the table will look a little clearer by lunchtime.
