A steady opening saw both sides probe without committing too much early on.

Nethercraigs had the first real sight of goal inside ten minutes from a free kick on the left, but the delivery was comfortably gathered. Corners followed at both ends, with defences largely on top.

The first big moment arrived on 20 minutes. A fine cross from the right was met with a firm downward header, but PSP keeper Johnny produced an excellent save to keep the scores level.

Nethercraigs made the breakthrough on 28 minutes. A corner was initially cleared, but the resulting long throw from the right caused problems in the box and was met by a Nethercraigs player to open the scoring.

Chrissie remained central to PSP’s attacking threat. After another strong run ended with a shot over the bar on 36 minutes, his persistence paid off just before the interval. On 45 minutes, he drove powerfully into the box and finished low to bring PSP level at the break.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with set pieces and wide play creating openings. PSP threatened through a series of passing moves involving Dec, Callum and Chrissie, while Nethercraigs were forced to defend several corners and free kicks.

PSP took the lead on 71 minutes. A long free kick from Jacko looked to have run out of play, but Chrissie showed great determination to reach it and nodded the ball into the net.

The momentum shifted ten minutes later when Chrissie received a second yellow card for an ill-judged challenge, leaving PSP to see out the final stages with ten men.

Despite that setback, PSP extended their lead late on. With only a few minutes remaining, Vlad intercepted a defender just inside the halfway line, ran through on goal, rounded the keeper and finished calmly to make it 3–1.

Nethercraigs were handed a lifeline in the 90th minute. A corner from the left ended with a player going to ground in the box, and the referee pointed to the spot. A melee followed the decision, resulting in Jacko being shown a red card. The penalty was converted to reduce the deficit.

From the restart, Nethercraigs pushed straight forward. A free kick from the right edge of the box was delivered to the back post, where a header was guided into the net to level the game with the final action
