GCFA Premiership
Nethercraigs 3 v 3 PSP
With a lot of bodies missing this was always going to be a tough battle made even tougher when our goalkeeper pulled out due to a sickness bug at 9:30pm the night before and Stefan Hislop stepped in as a trialist last minute
Missing our top goalscorer AJ, experience at the back like Stu Connelly and Barnsey and boys like Luke McMullen and Angelo from the left hand side the absentees are definitely starting to pile up.
That being said the boys on the pitch are more than good enough to compete but 25 mins in captain Ronnie McDonald pulled up with his hamstring. Tommy Rough came on and 5 mins later had a great impact. Throw in from Lewis McNab and Tommy headed in to make it 1-0
We then had a real foothold in the game but poor decision making in the final 3rd or bad finishing stopped us from extending our lead best chance falling to Shane Jackson but he miscued his lob over the goalkeeper.
After a good 1st half we switched off and allowed there centre mid to dance through 3 of us and slot home bottom bag after we should have dealt with it before hand on the left hand side.
HT 1-1
2nd half PSP looked the more hungrier and we had to weather a mini storm. Tackle from behind on Ryan Rae ref seemed to not give it and then gave a foul for dissent which PSP then launch the ball into the box and the boy Chrissy Shields taps past Stefan to make it 2-1
We had a few chances keeper made a good few saves and then the goalscorer of PSP 2 goals gets a 2nd yellow with 10 mins to go.
We through everything at it but Lum got caught last man off there big striker Vlad and he ran through one on one and made it 3-1

We go straight up from kick off win a free kick edge of the box. Jordan Hay whips it back post and Tommy Rough connects with it boom 3-3 absolute scenes. Boys showed that never die attitude and deserved our point.
Onto the Bunrigh Cup next Saturday now
