It’s a big Saturday morning in the Hills Solicitors Colleges Premiership, with the league leaders looking to strengthen their position at the top. Nethercraigs AFC welcome Park Sports Project to the recently opened Budhill Sports Arena in a fixture with clear implications at the top end of the table.

THE STATE OF PLAY

Nethercraigs AFC arrive as the pace-setters, sitting top of the table with 27 points from 13 games. Nine wins and no draws underline how decisive their results have been so far this season. They are, however, being closely followed by a Park Sports Project side with games in hand and a strong points return.

The visitors occupy third place with 25 points, but crucially, they have two games in hand. A win today for Park would not only see them leapfrog the leaders would see them move above the leaders and strengthen their position at the top of the table.

FORM GUIDE

Nethercraigs AFC: W-W-L-L

Nethercraigs AFC come into this fixture on the back of two league wins, overcoming Cambuslang FA Milan and GREENOCK HSFP 21s. Those results followed defeats to Corinthians and Clydebank Red Star and have kept them at the top of the standings.

Park sports project: W-L

Park Sports Project have lost only twice all season. A recent win over Clydebank SMFC was followed by defeat against Whitletts Victoria AFC, underlining the fine margins at this stage of the campaign.

THE BOOKIES VERDICT

Nethercraigs have the points on the board, while Park Sports Project have games in hand. It’s a straightforward top-end fixture where the gap and the order at the top can change

After doing my digging on starting line up, injuries, Suspensions and everything that could affect this game I’m going to predict a Psp victory by the narrowest of margins.
