Looking at your league position and games played around you, how important was it to get the 3 points today?

It was a huge 3 points today but its still a long way to go and we need to continue with form and make sure we win every match.

From the touchline, what stood out to you about your teams performance?

I was on the pitch, the passing and control of the game waa very impressive and the runs off the ball very good also.

Will the the scoreline allow you to install belief in the team that you guys can syill get promoted

We had belief from start of season that we can do that.

Mark Johnston’s performance stood out today, how good is it to have him in your squad ?

Mark was very good in today’s performance and hopefully he can continue to build on this. Been a great addition to the squad.

From a captain’s point of view, how important were those three points given where you’re sitting in the table?

Very important especially with the games in hand we have on teams around us.

What did you like most about the way the team played

We attacked relentlessly and didn’t slack off fter they went down to 10.

What does a game like that do for confidence and standards going into the next fixture?

It’s a great boost and shows there’s loads of competition for places even with boys unavailable.

Mark and Billy both thoroughly deserved to score twice
