Clydebank delivered a disciplined performance, taking the lead on 61 minutes when Ross Cluness found the net at a key moment in the match.
At the other end, Ross Gallacher played a decisive role, producing a strong goalkeeping display to secure Red Starâs first clean sheet of the season and see the result through.

Pollock said after the match:
âWe had the better of the chances first half but just couldnât take them.
We were getting a lot of joy against the Islands back three, so expected a change at half-time, which came when they moved to a back four.
Islands then grew into the game at the start of the second half, with a couple of great chances that were kept out by Ross Gallacher.â
