A GDSFC goalkeeper is currently facing a serious health situation following a road traffic accident earlier this week. After being taken to hospital, further tests revealed a brain tumour.

His club has shared this update publicly to ask for support. He is self-employed, has no access to sick pay, and has a young family at home. A GoFundMe has been set up to help ease the immediate pressure on his family while he focuses on treatment and recovery.
