With the forecast so poor and so many games off elsewhere, when did you first feel this one was definitely on?
I think Friday night when the rain started and the weather took a rise, I was quite confident it would go ahead.

Once it got going and conditions held up, how did the pitch and weather affect how you played?
We got pretty lucky with our kick-off time. I think we avoided the majority of the rain, so the pitch was pretty normal.

After the game opened up and the goals started coming, what pleased you most about the team’s performance today?
Delighted with how the boys played on our first game back after the festive break — we played as if we had never stopped.
