Mid-Season Review — 2025/26

Leaders

Rhu amateurs FC

Rhu Colts lead the Championship at the break with 22 points from nine matches.

Seven wins, one draw and one defeat have given them a clear early advantage, backed up by 34 goals scored so far.

Chasing Group

Busby AFC and Third Lanark Amateur remain closest in touch.

Busby have taken 18 points from seven games, while Third Lanark sit a point further back having played one more fixture. Both remain well placed, though Rhu Colts currently hold the initiative.

Middle of the Table

The next group is tightly packed on points.

Glasgow Ansar and Kings Park United AFC (GCFA) are level on 15 points, with Netherton close behind on 12. Fixture balance and consistency across the next run of games will be key in shaping this section.

Other End of the Table

At the other end, results have been harder to come by.

Greater Croftpark Rose, Lokomotiv Glasgow AFC, PGBC Amateurs, and Woodbank AFC remain close enough that small shifts could quickly change positions. Southside Untd and DTI are still searching for their first wins, with the second half of the season offering a reset point.
