Frank’s Stats

This mid-season reference captures the GDSFC league tables as they stood on Sunday 21 December 2025, presented division by division.

Stats verified and supported by the Frank Sideline stat sheet.

Premiership — Season So Far

Todholm AFC set the pace at the top with a strong points return and clear goal difference advantage. A small chasing group remains within reach, though games played are uneven across the division. At the other end, points totals are still close enough that movement remains possible once fixtures level out.

Championship — Season So Far

Blantyre United AFC lead the division, with Kelburne AFC close behind despite having games in hand. The top half remains competitive, with several sides still within touching distance of the promotion places. A clear gap has opened between the upper and lower sections of the table.

Division One — Season So Far

A tightly packed leading group sits at the top, with minimal points separating the first six sides. Consistent goal returns are a feature across the promotion places. The lower end has begun to stretch, though points are still available to close gaps.

Division Two — Season So Far

Stonelaw AFC lead the way, supported by a strong goal difference. A large chasing group sits behind them, with multiple teams still firmly in contention. Goal difference becomes more extreme toward the other end of the table.

Division Three — Season So Far

Vale AFC hold top spot, with a clear scoring record setting them apart. A competitive cluster follows, with several teams still capable of changing the shape of the table. Heavy goal swings appear at the lower end, reflecting a challenging first half for some sides.

Despite the current gaps, this division still carries room for movement.

Mid-Season Snapshot

Across the GDSFC:

Games played remain uneven across all divisions. Promotion places are largely defined, but not fixed. The second half of the season will be shaped by fixture balance as much as form.

This isn’t about forecasting outcomes. It’s about marking the point where tables stop lying and start telling the truth.

As the second half of the season unfolds, this mid-season review will remain a place to return to — a reminder of where the GDSFC stood when the noise faded and the numbers took over.
