This week saw some incredible individual performances across the leagues, from record-breaking goalscorers to emergency goalkeeping heroics.
Here are the 7 Player of the Week nominations based on their impact, statistics, and the narrative of their performances:
🏆 Player of the Week Nominations
Ryan Murney (Striker) – Corinthians

It is impossible to look past Murney this week. Not only did he net 4 goals on Saturday, but he reached the massive milestone of 102 goals in just four years for the club. A prolific performance from a player clearly at the top of his game.
Kieran Small (Midfielder) – Westhill United

Coming off the bench in the first half is never easy, but Small turned the game on its head. Scoring a hat-trick from midfield to secure a League Cup victory is a match-winning contribution of the highest order.
Brian Henderson (Emergency GK) – Clydeside Athletic

The “ultimate teammate” nomination. When the starting keeper was sent off, Henderson stepped up to go between the sticks. To sacrifice your outfield role and perform well under that kind of pressure earns him a spot on this list.
David McWilliams (Defender) – Rosebank Utd

Talk about a roller coaster. While still returning to fitness, McWilliams overcame the mental hurdle of an own goal to put in a brilliant defensive shift, eventually “hobbling” up the pitch to score a last-gasp equalizer.
Rocco Mcilvray (Striker) – Toryglen Thistle

A truly dominant attacking display. With 3 goals and an assist, Rocco was involved in four goals for his side. The report described him as “unplayable,” which is exactly what you want from a Player of the Week nominee.
Ben (Defender) – Burnhill FC

A dream debut. It’s rare for a defender to show the versatility to play both CB and LB in one game while maintaining a “tactical and energetic” level—and even rarer to cap it off with a goal from distance.
James McGratten (Goalkeeper) – Woodbank FC

While several keepers had great weeks, McGratten takes the nomination for being the total package. He was solid and sturdy during regulation time and then followed it up with two massive saves in the shootout to win the game.
