As the Christmas lights twinkle and the mince pies are piled high, it’s time for the GCFA Championship Christmas Cracker Festival! This annual feature celebrates the players who light up their league with passion, skill, and sheer dedication.

Today, we’re pulling a cracker on a man who embodies the spirit of his club: Shaun Noon of Busby AFC.

The Heart on His Sleeve

Shaun Noon is the longest-serving player at Busby AFC, having been involved with the club since the age of four. Now a senior centre-back, his 17-year connection to the club has carried through Busby’s move into the GCFA setup, where he has remained a consistent presence in the heart of the defence.

A Season to Remember

Shaun Noon has been a regular presence in Busby’s defence since the club joined the GCFA Championship.

The Ultimate Club Man… and Professional Coach

Away from Busby, Shaun Noon is also First Team Assistant Manager with Kilmarnock Women, balancing his professional coaching role with his long-standing commitment to his local club.

Joe, Shaun and the family

His 17-year connection to Busby AFC, alongside his work at the professional level, reflects a long-standing commitment to the game. We wish Shaun Noon and everyone at Busby AFC all the best over the festive period.
