Saturday saw some big results from the championship and one of the highlights being a new league leader of the pack as emerged.

RHU STAY IN TOUCH AT THE TOP
This crucial match for both teams as DTI are rooted to the bottom of the league table and are desperately searching for their first points of the season. Opponents Rhu Colts did not play their part in the story.
Colts were the villains in this story as they put their opponents to the sword and dti’s search for points continues.

THIRDS REMAIN UNBEATEN
This was a tough task for Southside United who sat in eleventh place in the table and the home team were we up against it from kick off.
Third lanark won the match and kept their unbeaten record in tact and moved up to the top of the league table.

NETHERTON AFC v WOODBANK FC


10:15 AM Kick Off – Ravenswood
NETHERTON DO THE DOUBLE
Netherton AFC traveled to Ravenswood to face Woodbank and their travels proved more than worthwhile after they beat their opponents for the second time this season.
Our Roving Reporter Was in attendance and commented that whist Netherton were the better team the final score probably flattered them.

GREATER CROFTPARK ROSE V GLASGOW ANSAR


10:00 AM Kick Off – Firhill Complex
GCR BATTLE TO AN IMPRESSIVE WIN
Glasgow Ansar started this game as favourites and were the bookies favourite due to their superior head to head record.
Ansar started the match really well but GCR took control after the took the lead mid way through the first half.
The second half saw GCR put on a dominant display and score two more goals to break the spirit of the opposition.
