Our very own GCFA referee David Somers is at the centre of our first famous faces Blog, The whistler is a good friend of Footy Focus and we thought this picture would be a great place to start.

The famous face in question is none other than English Premier League Referee Dermot Gallagher.

Dermot Gallagher is a very well-known and respected former Irish association football referee who had a long career in the English Premier League.

David Somers is one of the GCFA’s most experienced referees, he has officiated in various levels of Scottish football, including the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Championship, Scottish League One, and the Scottish Cup. He has also been assigned duties as a fourth official.
