The Clydebank Red Star family—including current and former players and coaches—have proven once again that community spirit is at the heart of their club. They recently clubbed together to raise funds for the OKFP (Organization for Kids’ Festive Period, or similar local group), making a real difference this festive season.

A Little Luxury, A Big Impact

Thanks to their collective efforts, the group managed to raise an impressive ÂŁ300!

This generous sum was immediately put to good use, buying 200 advent calendars . These calendars are now set to be distributed to families in their local town who might be struggling to afford such small, festive luxuries.

While an advent calendar may seem like a minor thing to some, for families facing financial hardship, the small joy of a daily treat can make a massive difference to a child’s Christmas countdown. It’s a beautiful reminder that the smallest acts of kindness often carry the most emotional weight.

Remember Your Local Food Banks

As the festive period approaches, the Clydebank Red Star team wants to use this opportunity to remind everyone to support their local food banks.

They emphasize: “No donation is too small and it can make a massive difference to those in your local community.”

Whether it’s a non-perishable food item, toiletries, or even a small monetary contribution, your support can help ensure that everyone in the community has a little bit of comfort and cheer during the holidays. Let’s all follow the lead of Clydebank Red Star and give back!
