I’ve covered a lot of Sundays, but this season’s been different. More grounds, more new teams, and more of the wee details you only spot when you’re close to the touchline. The AI does the counting in the background, but I’m still walking the same routes — pitches, corners, dugouts, and the carry-on that comes with them.
It’s been good to properly throw myself into the GDSFC this year. Plenty to see, plenty still to learn, and no shortage of matches worth dropping into.

I’ll keep moving between grounds as long as the fixtures keep giving me something to look at. This season’s been busy, but that’s the point — new teams, new stories, and plenty of Sundays that make the travel worth it.
