🔥 Top dogs, tough shifts, and trouble brewing at the bottom — GDSFC Premiership Sunday preview

This weekend’s Premiership card has everything you want from a November Sunday — a title scrap at the top, survival pressure down the bottom, and plenty of sides sitting one win away from a very different conversation.

📊 Frank Sideline’s GDSFC Goalscorer Tables — November Update

Here’s how it’s shaping up when the whistle goes across the grounds 👇

Nov 9th

Maryhill Black Star 🆚 Todholm AFC — Stepford Sports Complex, 10:00

Unbeaten Todholm face a proper test. Black Star have found a bit of form and love a scrap, but if Todholm take another three points here, they’ll stretch clear and send a message. Lose, and the chase opens right up.

Fairhill AFC 🆚 North End Utd — Bent Park, 11:00

Two sides looking for rhythm. Fairhill leak goals, North End can’t finish enough of theirs. A draw keeps them stuck in mid-table; a win for either could push them into that busy mid-pack.

Castlemilk Community 🆚 Glasgow On The Ball — Barlia Sports Complex, 12:15

Castlemilk have played some tidy football without reward lately. On The Ball badly need something to lift them off the bottom. If Castlemilk click early, this could be long morning for the visitors.

Lomond Thistle 🆚 Maryhill Milan — Argyll Park, 12:30

Plenty of quality in both sides but neither has found consistency. Milan have looked slick in flashes; Lomond will fancy home advantage. Mid-table points that might matter later.

Barrhead Utd 🆚 Polonia Glasgow — Cowan Park, 13:00

Barrhead are third and full of goals; Polonia have shipped 51 already. It’s a mismatch on paper, but Barrhead can’t afford any slip if they want to keep sight of the top two.

Pollokshields Utd 🆚 Glasgow North Utd — Nethercraigs, 14:00

The headline act. North can go joint-top if Todholm drop points. Pollokshields are dangerous and know a win here throws them right back into the race. Expect goals, tempo, and a few statements made.

Table Watch:
Todholm can make it 7 from 7 and pull clear at the top. Glasgow North could go joint-leaders on goal difference. Barrhead and Pollokshields can keep the pressure on.
Polonia and On The Ball have work to do, with both past the 40-goals-against mark — but there’s still time to turn things around.

The top half’s getting ruthless, the bottom half desperate — exactly how a Sunday league should feel in November.
Frank Sideline will be out there well wrapped up and on the sidelines.
