From clinical finishes to tireless midfield shifts, these names stood out above the rest: Andy Lindsay (Toryglen Thistle), Leroy Smith & Jay McKay (Rutherglen Glencairn AFC), Chrissy Shields (Park Sports Project) and Robin Harvey (Glasgow Island) — each playing a defining role in their club’s strong start.”


A tremendous season for Andy has continued into October. The attacker has helped lead his team Toryglen Thistle have a really successful start to the season
Andy is a player who contributes to every game that he plays in, The creative winger has shown that he can be a huge player for his club


Leroy has came back this year and even better player than last year, He went away worked on his fitness and came back on another level
The striker has been a major part of the way his club have been playing over the past month, he just guarantees goals when he takes to the field
An all round good month for Leroy sees him in the running for our Premier League Player Of The Month


Chrissy has been outstanding this month. He is a big problem for any direct opponent he plays against.
His all action style also incorporates not giving the defence a minutes peace. Chrissy challenges for everything, holds up play well, and makes driving runs, not to mention he scores and makes chances for himself and others.
Shields has been pivotal in the team’s performances lately and is becoming a mainstay. The Powerful attacker has really turned up and put in a host of performances that have caught the eye of Social Media HQ.
An all round good month for Chrissy sees him in the running for our Premier League October Player Of The Month
Ethan Furze – BISHOPTON FC


Ethan offers Bishopton FC something that no other striker does.
The striker certainly has an eye for goal and has been a big player for his club throughout October.


Robin has been in great form for Glasgow Island throughout October, He has really shown that when he is at the top of his game Islands can beat anyone.
He has had a tremendous October and really seems to be enjoying his football again.


Jay is a new signing for Rutherglen Glencairn AFC, he has been in the league for only a number of week but the defender has made a massive impact.
If Rutherglen are to go on and have a successful season then McKay will certainly play a big part of that.

October was a statement month in the Premier League.
