Glasgow Medics v River Nevis
The Hills Solicitors Colleges Conference serves up a compelling early-morning fixture this weekend as Glasgow Medics welcome high-flying River Nevis in what promises to be a stern test for the hosts.

This will be only the second meeting between the sides, but the visitors already hold the upper hand. Their previous clash, on 30 August, ended in a confident 2–0 victory for River Nevis — a result that set the tone for their strong start to the league campaign.
Form suggests River Nevis remain the team to beat. They arrive at Firhill riding a four-match winning streak, demonstrating a level of consistency that has propelled them to 2nd place in the standings with 15 points from six outings.
The visitors have shown both attacking threat and defensive discipline, qualities that will make them favourites on Saturday.
The home side Glasgow Medics, however, have endured a more turbulent spell. One win in their last five matches leaves them 7th in the table with seven points from seven games.
A recent defeat to Rosebank United highlighted ongoing vulnerabilities, though a victory over LS Memorial showed they are still capable of producing strong performances when things click.
With momentum firmly on their side and the historical edge already established, River Nevis travel north as clear favourites. On paper, they hold the advantage
