Willie Stirling — Queens Park SFC

First game back after a newborn and straight into it. Penalty save at 3–1 that turned the tide. “That’s a dad save.”

RB — Connor Moan (Remo FC)
Handled his side and hurt teams going forward. Proper modern full-back.

CB — Stu Connelly (Nethercraigs)
Assist inside 30 seconds, then a wall for the next 89.

CB — Sandy Bavington (River Nevis)

Sandy was top notch on Saturday, his best performance in a Nevis shirt. Kept their winger quiet all game.

LB — Marcel (Burnhill FC)
1v1s handled, crisp on the ball, voice constant. Led from the back and front.

Jack Graham — Remo FC
First hat-trick for the club and up to eight in the league. One the game keeps finding.

Gregor Lopez — Third Lanark AFC
Midfield treble. Tidy with it, nasty when needed. Dream mix.

Gary McTavish — Netherton AFC
On after 25′; left with a hat-trick and an assist. Not bad for a “sub”.

🎯 Front Three

RW — Kian Donaghy (Queens Park SFC)
Goal, assist, and their left-back will still be dizzy. Direct and dangerous.

ST — Greame McCallum (Clydebank SMFC)
Another hat-trick. Power, menace, movement. Unplayable used correctly.

LW — Ryan Metcalfe (Southside United)
Two screamers and counting. Big moments, big character.

🔁 Bench

Bradley Robertson (Remo FC) — goal off the bench, instant impact.

Ethan Furze (Bishopton) — another hat-trick; hunger unmatched.

Jamie Curran (PGBC) — two assists and a header; captain’s work.

Archie McNicol (Glasgow Island) — smart link play and a tidy finish.

Manager of the Week — Alan Sharp (PSP)
Built a side that presses high and plays forward early. Everyone looks like they know their job — even off the bench. “Coached, not choreographed.”

“You can keep your fancy stats — these lads made things happen. Goals, graft, and guts. The rest will just have to chew on it.”
