A History of Success and Spirit

Ryan’s dedication and skill shone bright during his initial two-season spell with us in the Sunday league. Not only did he help anchor the squad, but he was also a popular and respected figure among his teammates. Testament to his value, he was the recipient of the prestigious Players’ Player of the Year award, an honour voted for by his peers.

His football journey didn’t stop there. Ryan’s competitive spirit took him to play for Victoria Croftfoot, where he was part of the squad that famously won the Jim Harvey Cup.

This taste of silverware proved his ability to perform when it matters most. He even featured in another memorable final for Nethercraigs, though we unfortunately the club fell short against Dumbarton AFC

The Journey Back

Ryan in action

After his time with Nethercraigs, Ryan made the step up to the WOSFL with Giffnock. While this period was marked by progress, it was also unfortunately interrupted by a bad injury.

Now, Ryan is back at Nethercraigs, ready to restart his journey with the club where he made his mark. His return brings a wealth of experience, a history of winning, and a proven ability to earn the respect of his teammates. We can’t wait to see the fire he brings to the pitch this season!
