A massive Happy Birthday Joe Noon of Busby AFC and a valuable member of the background team that keeps the SPAFA and the GCFA Saturday morning league running smoothly.

Joe has now been part of Busby AFC for an incredible 17 years, and his impact on the club both on and off the park can’t be overstated.
Off the pitch, he’s helped build the strong foundations that keep the club running smoothly and growing year after year.

On it, he’s guided teams to plenty of success, from the old 1996s to the 2004s, winning countless trophies along the way. That 2004 group now forms the core of our amateur side, which Joe still manages.
In just a few short years, he’s turned them into an established Saturday morning team, now heading into their third season and competing strongly in the Boca Championship.

Noon and his busby side joined the GCFA just over three years ago and joe’s experience and willingness to get stuck into any task alerted the GCFA hierarchy to his talents and it wasnt too long before he was enticed on to the committee.
Joe is such a vital cog as he helps to keep everything in the Scottish Premier Football Association running smoothly. He helps with fixtures, Referees and much more and all this is on a voluntary basis.
This year, Joe’s celebrating his big day all the way over in New York City 🗽🇺🇸, enjoy the well-earned break!
