There’s no Premiership card this weekend, but the Sunday scene still looks busy across Glasgow and beyond. League fixtures scatter the map from Lennoxtown to Greenfield, with some very competitive ties across the divisions that should give the wet-weather crowd something to talk about.

📊 League Snapshot (as of 12 Oct 2025)

Kelburne AFC set the pace — six wins from six. Blantyre United and Yoker Athletic are close behind, while Easterhouse FA and Glasgow Diverse keep the top half tight.
Caledonian Spartans lead the way after eight played, but Rossvale and Third Lanark both sit just a point off. Southside, East Kilbride YM and Pollok Dynamo aren’t far behind either — it’s the most congested table in the league.
Steins Thistle, Motherwell Villa and Inter Inchinnan share top spot on 16 points. Stonelaw and Renfrew Amateurs aren’t far behind. Every game in this division looks like a coin toss right now.
Vale AFC out front with 21 points, while Paisley Saints and Castlemilk FA both have games in hand and momentum. The chasing pack — Corinthians, Dennistoun and Unity — are all within touching distance.

🎯 Frank Sideline’s Top 3 — GDSFC Sunday 19 October

One of the early ones worth getting the iPhone out for. Both sides know where the net is and neither tend to ease off. Rossvale’s start has been ruthless, and East Kilbride have enough about them to make it awkward. Could be lively from the off.

Castlemilk have been clinical in front of goal and Unity appear to be able to match them. Both sit near the sharp end of Division Three and know what three points here could mean. Barlia should be lively for this one.

A meeting of opposites on paper. Kelburne sit clear at the top with six wins from six, while Woodlands are still searching for a result to build from. The form book says one thing, but these late kick-offs can throw up surprises.

Three cracking fixtures — all with something to prove and a chance to show what this league’s about. Should be a proper advert for the GDSFC.
