Action from the Championship as league leaders Glasgow Ansar take on Greater Croftpark Rose at Glasgow Green.
Match Report:
Greater Croftpark Rose vrs Glasgow Ansar

After last week’s abandoned due to the poor weather, Glasgow Ansar and GCR returned to match action.
Ansar will be aiming to extend their unbeaten start to the season and GCR would be looking to kick start their season.
What followed was a scrappy contest and arguably one of Ansar’s worst performance so far, but they still found a way to grind out three points.

Ansar started slowly, wasting early chances as Aqib’s cross found Maaz, whose layoff to Zuu was dragged wide, before Tany’s excellent delivery saw Maaz head over.
Greater Croftpark Rose’s number 9 Benghellab missed a big one-on-one before Ansar made the break through late in the half — Bhatti’s ball recovery sparked a quick counter, Zuu sent a lovely ball over the top to Hassan, who beat his man and squared for Maaz to tap home. 1-0 Ansar !!!!!!
The lead didn’t last long though, as Benghellab who looked in inspired form punished a high Ansar midfield with a long-range strike past Josh to make it 1–1 at the break.

The second half was no better, with Ansar losing control and struggling to keep possession.

Aqib’s injury forced an early change, but substitute Azeem made an instant impact by winning a penalty when Keys made the foul.
Maaz (WolteMaaz) rifled the ball into the top corner for his second goal of the game. 2-1 Ansar !!!!
Azeem had two golden chances to seal it but couldn’t convert, while Ansar’s sloppiness invited late pressure.

Greater Croftpark Rose had chances of their own but Josh the Ansar number one was in inspired form.
In stoppage time, Zuu conceded a penalty to cap a frustrating display, but Josh came up clutch — diving low to make a heroic save and preserve the win.
It was far from pretty, but the unbeaten run goes on as Ansar escape with all three points.
